For existing applications, Convergent Develop Services offers the Software HealthCheck, a structured technical review of either in-house or off-the-shelf software applications. These are a variation on the Enterprise Systems HealthCheck, but focus on a specific software application or module and the software development process (for internal applications) or release/change management process (for 3rd party applications) used to support it.

Some examples of recent development projects in Financial Services include:

• Bespoke Oracle PL/SQL development of an Asset Liability Management (ALM) solution for Credit Suisse Private Banking. This included a Position Keeping System for modelling Non-Maturing Products and creating synthetic portfolios used to hedge against interest changes; as well as a Cash Flow Engine to manage liquidity.
• Migrating and re-architecting end-user applications for Credit Suisse Asset Management from Microsoft Access to a centralised MS SQL Server / .Net architecture with a global security model.
